After some intense thinking, I have decided to test the waters of Park City, Utah for a while. I have been offered a position to help run the bar in the new Spruce Restaurant at Waldorf Astoria's Dakota Mountain Lodge which is nestled nicely within Park City's Canyons Ski Resort. I won't get into the details of this ritzy and opulent skiing haven but you can check out the website. www.dakotamountainlodge.com
Basically I'll be skiing and boarding on "The greatest snow on earth" for free, running mountain trails of the Wasatch Range, Bryce, Moab, Zion, Snowbird, and even the Grand Canyon!! I will also enjoy training at olympic gyms, eating only the finest cuisine, schmoozing at Sundance, swimming, and a ton of other cool outdoor shit. Hell, I may even break down and buy a mountain bike!
My departure date is on July 12, 2009. If you'd like to come out and visit just let me know. All I ask is that you bring tons of $$ and coffee beans :)
The Bay Area is my home so I'll be back!
